Disneyland Paris has welcomed a new fine dining experience with the opening of La Forêt Secrète par Jean Imbert at the iconic Disneyland Hotel. The restaurant, which opened on March 7, 2025, is helmed by Michelin-starred chef Jean Imbert and offers a gastronomic journey inspired by classic Disney films.

The menu at La Forêt Secrète features a range of Disney-inspired dishes created by Chef Jean Imbert and Executive Chef Moussa Konaté. The offerings begin with starters like “Under the Sea,” a colorful seafood dish with langoustines, shellfish, caviar, and sea jelly inspired by The Little Mermaid, and “Mrs. Potts’ Brew,” a Beauty and the Beast-themed dish featuring root vegetable ravioli in a truffle broth.

Main courses include “Prince Ali’s Tagine,” an Aladdin-inspired poultry ballotin with dates and dried fruits; “Caribbean Casserole,” a Pirates of the Caribbean tribute featuring Mediterranean red tuna with passion fruit vinaigrette and Colombo spice; “Remy’s Ratatouille” with tomato water and white balsamic; and “Tony and Joe’s Spaghetti,” a Lady and the Tramp-inspired dish with slow-cooked veal and Comté emulsion.

The children’s menu offers specially designed dishes such as “Fairy Godmother’s Soup” from Cinderella, featuring pumpkin and chestnut gnocchi, and “The Lantern Festival,” a Tangled-inspired fish and chips with tartar sauce.

For dessert, Chef Imbert and pastry chef Axel Michenaud have created options including “Lost Ark Shortbread” with confit lemon, almond crumble, ice cream, vanilla mousse, and flowing caramel inspired by Indiana Jones, and “Mickey’s Soufflé” made with Peruvian chocolate and hazelnut praline. Children’s desserts include “Chip & Dale’s Hazelnut Ice Cream” with hot chocolate foam and “Little Jean’s Fruit Salad” with crispy biscuit and vanilla sauce.

Complementing the food is a carefully curated wine and champagne list featuring selections from renowned French wine regions including Burgundy, Alsace, and Bordeaux.

The restaurant features an enchanting forest-themed environment and offers two menu options for adults: a five-course menu (€200) and a three-course choice menu (€140). In a first for Chef Imbert, the restaurant also includes a specially designed children’s menu (€70).

“What I wanted to convey through the menu is this invitation to travel through their favorite experiences found at Disneyland Paris,“ said Chef Imbert, who described his longstanding connection to Disney. “I offer guests a journey from one story to another through food, from The Little Mermaid to Ratatouille, to Indiana Jones and Pirates of the Caribbean, always with respect for seasonal ingredients.”

The restaurant’s décor features a Murano glass chandelier adorned with foliage and birds, hand-painted murals depicting a forest, and custom-designed serving dishes from Bernardaud with botanical motifs.
La Forêt Secrète par Jean Imbert is open to the public by reservation from Wednesday to Sunday evenings, and does not require park admission to visit. Subscribe to AirMagique for more news and updates.
