Disneyland Paris has revealed more details for a new family attraction based on Disney’s 2010 animated film Tangled, scheduled to open on March 29, 2026.

The attraction, named Raiponce Tangled Spin, will feature spinning gondolas beneath a lantern-filled sky designed to evoke one of the film’s most recognizable scenes. The ride will incorporate newly arranged orchestrations of two songs from the movie’s soundtrack: “I See the Light” and “Kingdom Dance.”

According to Andy Martin, Creative Director at Walt Disney Imagineering Paris, the musical arrangements have been adapted specifically for the attraction. “In the movie, the melody of ‘I See The Light’ is more of a romantic ballad, so we reinterpreted it for the attraction to give it a livelier rhythm, like a waltz, to swirl our guests,” Martin stated.

The attraction will include several references to the film, including a ceiling fresco designed to appear as though painted by the protagonist Rapunzel, with art supplies visible in the queue area. A weathervane featuring Pascal, the character’s chameleon companion, will be installed on the building’s roof. Voice actress Mandy Moore, who voiced Rapunzel in the original film, has recorded welcome messages and safety instructions for the ride.

The announcement coincides with the 15th anniversary of Tangled’s French theatrical release on December 1, 2010. Directed by Byron Howard and Nathan Greno, the film represented a return to Disney animation stories based on European fairy tales.

Raiponce Tangled Spin will be located in Disney Adventure World’s Adventure Way section when it opens next spring. The attraction is designed to accommodate guests of all ages. Subscribe to AirMagique for more news and updates.
