Despite its five-star status, the hotel is rated at 2.5 out of 5, indicating a subpar perceived experience for many guests.

Poor Value
After years of closure for extensive and expensive renovations, the Disneyland Hotel is once again open for guests, albeit at a steep price point. However, dissatisfaction with the accommodations is evident, with numerous complaints centering on poor value for money and exceedingly slow check-in procedures.

With rooms averaging in at over a 1000 Euro per night, many guests have high expectations. Which the Disneyland Hotel is currently unable to meet.

Long Waits
Among the grievances voiced by guests are instances of rooms not being ready on time, staff members lacking information and displaying unfriendliness, and overall dissatisfaction with the level of service provided. Several reviewers specifically mention issues with cleanliness, long wait times for luggage retrieval, and disruptive construction noise.

Odor Issues
Reviewers also highlight disappointments with the hotel’s amenities, such as overpriced dining options and crowded facilities. Tripadvisor reviewer _staceygriffin wrote: “Like everyone else we experienced long waits, rude cast members, room not ready at 4.30pm, housekeeping not done until 6pm, nothing in the room restocked when housekeeping finally arrived.” While Victoria J wrote: “The room was lovely, but the corridor smelled like sewage.”

Despite Disneyland Paris’s efforts to address concerns through official responses, many guests remain dissatisfied with their experiences, describing the service as disorganised, inadequate, and slow. Non-residents have also experienced issues when attempting a visit to the public areas of the Disneyland Hotel.
