Starting 19 July 2023, the existing passes will no longer be available, and the only option for purchase or renewal will be the Disneyland Pass. Disneyland Paris claim the primary focus of the new product is to cater to people’s desires and usage, specifically providing access to the parks. Which is surprising given the large mount of benefits that have been cut from the new Passes. Before we proceed, here are some important points to note:

  • Annual Pass (AP) holders who are currently within their renewal period will have priority access to purchase starting 19 July 2023.
  • Existing AP holders will have the opportunity to upgrade to the new range in person at the ticketing desks of Walt Disney Studios Park, beginning 19 July 2023. The cost of the remaining days on their current pass will be deducted from the price of the new pass.
  • Sales for non-AP holders will commence later in the summer.
  • The discount for disabled guests, which include 25% off for the primary user plus one carer, will remain unchanged. This discount is only available for on-site purchases.
  • There is a limited quantity of passes available for sale and renewal. Although a considerable number is expected to be released, availability is not guaranteed, and your desired pass may not be available at the time of your intended purchase, upgrade, or renewal. In such cases, you can still purchase an alternative pass and upgrade at a later time.

Disneyland Pass Bronze €289
Consider this as the base entry to the happiest place in Europe. With 170 available park days per year and no additional perks, it serves as a good choice for casual park goers who only want access to the parks. It’s important to note that the same rule applies as with the now defunct Discovery pass, meaning it cannot be used immediately. It’s worth mentioning that parking is complimentary for all Disneyland Pass holders.

Disneyland Pass Silver €499
Grants entry on most days throughout the year, excluding busy weeks, totaling up to 300 days. This pass offers a 10% discount on merchandise, food, and photo passes, as well as complimentary parking. However, these are the only benefits included with this pass.

Disneyland Pass Gold €699
By acquiring the Disneyland Pass Gold, you gain unrestricted access to the parks for all 365 days of the year. Additionally, Gold pass-holders will receive a 15% discount on food and merchandise (previously 20% with the now defunct Infinity pass), a complimentary Photopass, and free parking (Infinity Parking is no longer available). Notably, this pass is the only option if you are looking to take advantage of Extra Magic Time. This strategic change aims to decrease the number of park goers present during Extra Magic Time hours.

Reservation Still Required
All pass-holders, regardless of tier, will continue to have a reservation allowance of 3 consecutive days to visit the parks. However, the availability of reservations will now be integrated into the overall park capacity. This means that all Disneyland Pass holders will have access to the entire capacity of the parks, eliminating any distinction between pass-holders and day ticket holders. In practice, it remains to be seen how this change will impact attendance, but Disney anticipates that as a result, Disneyland Pass holders may only encounter a few days throughout the year when the parks reach their maximum capacity. Pass-holders can secure their visit by booking well in advance if they anticipate high demand.

Full park capacity is typically reached during Halloween, Christmas week, and on certain summer holidays. It’s important to note that when the parks are at capacity, day tickets will also be unavailable. Resulting in the equal treatment of all Disneyland Pass holders and other park goers moving forward. It’s worth mentioning that if pass holders choose not to upgrade their existing pass, they will still be subject to the current quotas and limitations.

The Infinity Parking lot will no longer be available.

Eliminated Benefits
The list of benefits for the Disneyland Pass has significantly shortened. This implies that certain current annual pass-holder benefits will soon come to an end, while others will continue until the expiration date of the passes that are still in circulation. Here’s a complete breakdown of all the benefits that pass-holder’s are losing:

  • Privilege Tickets will no longer be available with the Disneyland Pass. However, any remaining tickets still available on existing passes will be honored.
  • The annual pass-holder exclusive entrance will no longer be available starting 19 July 2023.
  • Infinity Parking will cease to exist for all pass-holders on 19 July 2023. During ongoing construction, it will serve as accessible parking before being converted into regular parking.
  • Free bag storage will no longer be offered starting 19 July 2023.
  • Reserved Viewing Areas will be discontinued from 1 August 2023.
  • Free stroller and wheelchair rentals will no longer be available.
  • Discounted passholder Disneyland Paris hotel room rates will no longer be offered.
  • Discounts on day tickets will no longer be offered.
  • Extra Magic Time and discounts will remain unchanged for existing pass holders until their pass expires. Only the Disneyland Pass Gold will continue to offer Extra Magic Time access thereafter.

Added Benefits
Disneyland Passes will offer 4 exclusive annual passholder parties each year, specially designed to suit different seasons, events, or themes. Pass-holders are allowed to bring one guest to accompany them. The first party is scheduled for 29 September 2023, with sales opening towards the end of August. A revamped queuing system will be implemented for ticket purchases. It’s worth noting that these parties will also be accessible to legacy pass-holders.

A previously vacant location within Disneyland Park will undergo refurbishment to host an exclusive meet and greet experience with Disney Characters. These special meet and greets will take place several times a year, spanning 3-4 weeks each. Every Disneyland Pass holder will have the opportunity to reserve one meet and greet session during each period. This enchanting experience will showcase exclusive and beloved characters within a relaxed setting.

The dedicated space forDisneyland Passholders, utilized for meet and greets, will also serve as a versatile pop-up location for sales and events. This arrangement will help reduce the reliance on The Storybook Store, eliminating the necessity for its use. It’s important to note that this space should not be mistaken for a lounge, as its primary purpose is to cater to sales and events in addition to the meet and greet experiences.

Additionally, various special offerings will be made available to Disneyland Pass holders throughout the year.

Digital Only
The new Annual Pass emphasizes its complete digitization, encompassing every aspect from purchase to renewal and usage. The Disneyland Paris app will serve as the platform for the pass, it does not currently support Apple Wallet. Physical cards will not be provided for online purchases. Nevertheless, individuals who purchased online have the option to obtain one complimentary card at the ticketing desks upon request. In the event of physical card loss, the standard replacement fee will still be applicable. While the primary and recommended method of acquiring a Disneyland Pass is through online channels, they will also be available for purchase, in person, at the ticketing desks and via the official hotline.

Disney has provided an official chart displaying the prices, monthly installment options, and a selection of benefits:
