Disneyland Paris just shared a short behind the scenes video for “TOGETHER: a Pixar Musical Adventure” which will premiere on July 15, 2023, at Disneyland Paris. 

Studio Theater at Walt Disney Studios Park will offer park goers the opportunity to experience a Pixar-themed musical production on a daily basis.

The behind the scenes video features various short clips, like the one pictured above, of a costume fitting for one of the performers. The costume features buttons that rock the iconic Luxo Ball design. The Pixar Ball, also known as the Luxo Ball, is a yellow ball adorned with a blue stripe and a red star. It originally appeared as a prop in the Luxo Jr. short film, accompanying Luxo Jr. himself. Since its debut, this iconic ball has made numerous cameo appearances in various other Pixar films, with its most notable appearances being in the Toy Story film series.

Dory can also be seen with her puppeteer. Featuring a similar design to it’s counterpart in Finding Nemo – The Musical’ at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Walt Disney World, the hand operated puppet can blink, move it’s mouth and body. 

The show will feature a live ensemble of 8 musicians along with a pre-recorded orchestra consisting of 54 musicians. “TOGETHER: a Pixar Musical Adventure” take’s the audience on a journey through the enchanting worlds of Toy Story, Coco, Up, Monsters, Inc., and Finding Nemo, with 5 daily showings.
