Disneyland Paris has unveiled a series of enhancement projects planned for implementation between 2025 and 2026. According to information released by Walt Disney Imagineering Paris, these initiatives aim to enrich park goers experiences throughout the resort, particularly at Disneyland Park.

The Design & Show Quality team, comprised of approximately 70 Imagineers, is leading these efforts as part of ongoing quality improvements across the destination. Among the announced projects is a refurbishment of the Rivers of the Far West attraction in Frontierland, which will feature restored landscapes and new animal figures / scenes inspired by Disney Legend Marc Davis’s original designs. Including a buffalo on a prairie and deer drinking from a waterfall. The renovation includes the addition of authentic 19th-century American West props and a complete overhaul of the Molly Brown riverboat. Disney has not made any announcements regarding the decommissioned Mark Twain riverboat.

Adventure Isle will introduce a new permanent treasure hunt activity in its caves starting in fall 2025. This interactive experience will connect thematically to the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction. Park goers entering the caves will find scrolls featuring recognizable characters from the attraction who invite guests to locate their missing possessions. The adventure involves searching throughout the cave system for various items, including a set of keys misplaced by a canine character who requires them to maintain watch over imprisoned pirates in the fort’s dungeons. This interactive experience, which incorporates custom hand-painted signage and replicas of props from the original attraction, is scheduled to open in fall 2025.

Additionally, Disneyland Paris continues its weatherproofing initiative with several new covered areas. Casey’s Corner restaurant on Main Street, U.S.A. will feature a baseball-themed covered terrace with a resin roof by June 2025, while the Town Square Boarding House photo location will receive weather protection in 2026. At Walt Disney Studios Park, construction on a themed covered waiting area for The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror attraction will begin in late April 2025.

The resort’s parking area has also received enhancements, including Mickey Mouse-inspired design elements, a nod to the famous quote by Walt Disney declaring “it all started with a mouse”; 23 terrazzo stars referencing The Walt Disney Company’s founding year. These projects represent only a portion of the planned improvements, with Walt Disney Imagineering Paris promising additional announcements in the future.
