In a significant development for Disney Village, a fresh chapter has begun with the inauguration of BRASSERIE Rosalie, a new dining option that promises a unique gastronomic encounter inspired by traditional French cuisine. This culinary venture serves as the inaugural phase in the comprehensive revamp of Disney Village a.k.a. Disney Village 2.0.
https://anchor.fm/s/7618f58/podcast/rssAfter nearly a year of renovations, BRASSERIE Rosalie officially opened its doors on December 8, strategically positioned along the Disney Village promenade. Boasting panoramic vistas of Disney Lake from its two terraces, the brasserie offers seating for 348 patrons and an outdoor counter, presenting a contemporary twist to the conventional French brasserie concept, blending art deco asthetics with family-friendly allure.

Varied Offerings
BRASSERIE Rosalie, operational from 8:30 a.m. for breakfast until late evening, endeavours to satiate the palates of French gastronomy enthusiasts. The menu boasts an array of classics, including Burgundy snails, onion soup au gratin, avocado-shrimp cocktails, and an extensive selection of oysters and seafood.

Noteworthy specialties encompass the creamy lobster pot pie, braised beef fondant, Rosalie sauerkraut, old-fashioned veal blanquette, and mussels with Chablis and Isigny cream. Additionally, an adjacent outdoor counter serves sandwiches, salads, fresh juices, and French pastries for the on-the-go visitor.

Contemporary Flair
Conceived and operated by the Bertrand Group in collaboration with Walt Disney Imagineering, Rosalie stands as a two-story eatery. The interior draws inspiration from traditional brasseries, infused with a contemporary aesthetic. Large mirrors, handmade murals, and paintings adorn the bright and comfortable space. An exclusive kinetic chandelier (motorized), crafted by Parisian studio AC3, grets visitors with its dynamic lights and color changes upon entering.

Externally, BRASSERIE Rosalie melds natural textures in wood, brick, and metal, creating a warm and dynamic ambiance. This exterior aesthetic provides a glimpse into the forthcoming visual transformation of Disney Village, slated for facade redesigns in 2024. Substantial enhancements have been made to the surrounding area, including floors, greenery, and lighting, elevating the space.

First Step in the Disney Village Evolution
BRASSERIE Rosalie marks the initial phase of Disney Village’s transformation plan, a pivotal locale at the core of Disneyland Paris. The area is set to evolve further, introducing new shopping and dining options in a reimagined space.
