New Disney Fashion Junior Façade Leaked | Disney Village 2.0

Now that we’ve entered the low season, work on Disney Village 2.0 is in full swing at Disneyland Paris.

The closure of Café Mickey, Planet Hollywood and King Ludwigs mark the first big steps in the overhaul of the shopping, dining and entertainment district.

According to OUTSIDEARS (Link to original Twitter post in French) construction crews will begin working on the first facade of the north block of Disney Village will begin in the coming weeks.

Disney Fashion Junior’s new façade will act as a sort of testing grounds for durability.

Putting the Imagineers technological and material selections through their paces.

The architectural renderings of the new façade are legally required, and publicly available, in France for approval purposes.

They reveal a simple plaster facade, in a light shade, with 3 false windows/ backlit displays and an awning.

While it may not look like much, it is only the first section of the north block and will (hopefully) effectively integrate itself into the new design concept.

What do you think of the new look? Let us know in the comments below.
