Europa-Park, Germany’s largest theme park located in Rust, has completed a major expansion of its on-site accommodation and entertainment offering with the full rollout of Silver Lake City — a sprawling, immersive Wild West-themed destination covering roughly 25 acres adjacent to the main park.

What started as a caravan and campsite in the immediate vicinity of Europa-Park in 1998 has steadily developed over the years. With tipi tents, covered wagons, log cabins, Western Houses, dining options, and leisure activities, the former Camp Resort gradually evolved into a self-contained Western-style resort. The latest phase of that evolution brings the total overnight capacity to a significant milestone.

A Lodge, a Brewery, and Room for 2,000 Guests
The centerpiece of this summer’s expansion is the Riverside Western Lodge, which has been open since June 2026, offering 119 rooms and a total of 532 beds, providing additional comfort in an American Western style. From the moment guests step inside, they are immersed in the meticulously designed Western atmosphere, with wooden facades, warm colors, and tasteful decor creating an authentic ambience.

With the expansion, guests at Silver Lake City now have access to accommodation for more than 2,000 people — from their own tents or caravans to log cabins, tipi tents, and covered wagons, all the way up to comfortable Western-style rooms.

A new on-site microbrewery, the Silver Lake Brewery, rounds out the expansion. It produces a house-made unfiltered lager called “Silver Lake Brew,” available for tasting in a dedicated room overlooking the brewing equipment.

Sleeping Options for Every Type of Adventurer
The variety of overnight accommodations on offer is striking. There are 25 tipi tents sleeping four, six, or twelve people, as well as six rustic log cabins with a total of 26 rooms providing spacious accommodation for four, six, twelve, or up to sixteen people. A honeymoon suite is also available for romantic moments in a Western-themed setting. Rounding out the options are 36 authentic Western Houses with private bathrooms, whose rustic facades and charming details evoke the 19th century.

Each Western House sleeps four to six people and comes with a private bathroom, air conditioning, a mini fridge, and a terrace overlooking the scenic lake.

For campers and RV travelers, there are 219 pitches for caravans with water and electricity connections, designed for vehicles of various sizes, along with new sanitary facilities in the caravanning area.

Dining in the Wild West
The central dining attraction is the Diner Station buffet restaurant, designed in the style of an old Western railway station — including an authentically recreated train with seating — and offering 275 seats. The restaurant serves breakfast and dinner buffets daily, with the latter featuring American classics, salads, grilled meats, and desserts. An outdoor terrace accommodates roughly 200 additional diners.

The Silver Lake Saloon serves heartier fare — Texas burgers, steaks, and spare ribs — across a two-story space with bar, stage, and lakeside terrace. The Wild Horse Bar, with 120 seats, offers freshly tapped beer, cocktails, and classic spirits in a rustic saloon atmosphere. Smaller food options include Cantina Amigo, Grandpa Will’s Hot Dogs, and Cold Rush Western Ice Creams.

Entertainment and Activities
Gold Rush Golf is a mini golf course with a desert theme and twelve holes, set amid cacti and Western scenery. Younger visitors will be delighted by the locomotive-shaped adventure playground, while the bull riding experience offers a real taste of the rodeo. Walking acts, artists, and musicians round off the entertainment program, and a new YULLBE GO venue brings state-of-the-art virtual reality technology to Silver Lake City.

A 24/7 Wild West Store provides guests with round-the-clock access to souvenirs, merchandise, and everyday essentials.

By the time Silver Lake City is fully complete in 2026, Europa-Park will have invested around 70 million euros in the project. Europa-Park owner Roland Mack has described the destination as more than just an extension of the main park. “Silver Lake City tells a story that is deeply rooted in the history of the community of Rust and at the same time reflects the pioneering spirit of Europa-Park,” he said at the opening, adding that the project places adventure, quality, and family at its center.
