Disney Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel at Disneyland Paris marked its fifth anniversary on June 21, 2026, with an exclusive comic book for hotel guests, returning fan-favorite food and drink offerings, and a boutique discount for resort visitors.
The property originally opened as Disney’s Hotel New York in 1992, designed by postmodern architect Michael Graves. It was reimagined by Walt Disney Imagineering and relaunched in June 2021 as the world’s first hotel entirely dedicated to Marvel art. The four-star hotel was styled as a contemporary New York art gallery, paying tribute both to the city where many Marvel Super Heroes were born and to the artists who created them. At opening, it featured more than 350 pieces of artwork spanning comics and film, created by more than 110 artists from around the world, including approximately 50 pieces made exclusively for the hotel.

To celebrate the milestone, guests staying at the hotel on June 21 received a limited-edition comic book delivered to their rooms. The comic book featured a foreword by C.B. Cebulski, Editor-in-Chief of Marvel Comics, and showcased artwork from the 2026 class of the Marvel Art Atelier — an annual program at the hotel that trains emerging artists under the guidance of established Marvel talent. This year’s mentors included Elena Casagrande, Humberto Ramos, Iban Coello, and Adi Granov. The Marvel Art Atelier has a track record of launching careers: past participants have gone on to earn official Marvel comic assignments, with their work exhibited at the hotel’s Jack Kirby Legacy Gallery.

The anniversary celebrations also extended to the hotel’s restaurants and bars. Through July 31, the Skyline Bar is offering a curated selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails drawn from the past five years of the hotel’s history, while the Downtown Restaurant has introduced a new dessert created exclusively for the anniversary.
Guests staying at any Disneyland Paris hotel can also take advantage of a limited-time shopping offer. Through July 31, 2026, those who spend €30 or more at the New York Boutique will receive a 10% discount on a selection of merchandise, with certain exclusions applying to new collections and books.

The anniversary was also marked internally, with cast members gathering for a commemorative group photo alongside Agathe Soul, the Disneyland Paris 2026–2027 Ambassador.

The hotel sits at a notable moment for Disneyland Paris more broadly, with the resort having recently relaunched its second theme park as Disney Adventure World in March 2026, adding new attractions and experiences as part of an ongoing multi-year expansion.
