With less than three weeks to go before the launch of World of Frozen at Disney Adventure World, Disneyland Paris has officially welcomed more than 350 newly selected Cast Members into the themed land’s immersive universe through a dedicated onboarding ceremony held in the spirit of the attraction’s fictional setting.

The event, framed as the “Celebration of the Villagers of Arendelle,” was designed to formally introduce the incoming Cast Members — referred to throughout as new villagers — to the kingdom of Arendelle, the Frozen-inspired land set to open on March 29. The ceremony was led by Fredrik, a royal emissary character representing Queens Anna and Elsa, and was attended by Disneyland Paris President Natacha Rafalski, Senior Vice President of Operations Christophe Murphy, the resort’s 2026–2027 Disney Ambassadors Mónica and Agathe, and character Oaken.

Each new Cast Member received a personalized name badge to be worn during the upcoming Snowflower Festival, the launch event accompanying the land’s opening, allowing guests to identify them by name throughout their visit.

The selection process for the new intake began in the summer of 2025, with thousands of candidates auditioned for roles spanning guest services, character encounter hosting, attraction operations, and retail. The 350 individuals ultimately chosen then completed a structured training program run through Disney University — internally referred to as the Royal Academy of Universal Development — during the winter of 2026. Training sessions used immersive storytelling elements, including a recreation of the Nordic Crowns Tavern private dining room setting, to familiarize candidates with the land’s lore, customs, and guest experience standards ahead of opening day.
The induction ceremony itself featured a procession across a bridge into the themed land, culminating at the Friendship Fountain — a central landmark symbolizing the bond between Anna and Elsa — where the assembled group performed a collective rendition of “Vueli,” the choral piece associated with the Frozen franchise. The event concluded with a group photograph.

World of Frozen at Disney Adventure World is scheduled to open to the public on March 29.
