Starting from January 8, 2024, Disneyland Paris will be serving up a burst of color with the launch of Disney Symphony of Colours. This celebration will unfold gradually over the initial weeks of the new year, featuring a range of experiences designed to brighten up winter days.
https://anchor.fm/s/7618f58/podcast/rssOne of the highlights of Disney Symphony of Colours is the Disney Electrical Sky Parade, set to run from January 8 to September 30, 2024. This nighttime drone parade promises a spectacular display, blending synchronized drones, video projections, lights, and fountains across Sleeping Beauty Castle.

Evoking nostalgia for the Main Street Electrical Parade, a beloved nighttime parade that ran from 1992 to 2003. Disney Electrical Sky Parade aims to offer both returning enthusiasts and a new generation a fresh perspective on this iconic Disney Parks experience. With up to 500 illuminated drones forming floats representing various Main Street Electrical Parade icons, the night sky above the castle will be transformed into a vibrant canvas. Accompanied by a remixed electro-syntho-magnetic soundtrack, the parade pays homage to the classic Disney spectacle.

Developed in collaboration with Dronisos, the official technology supplier of Disneyland Paris, and known for their expertise in drone shows, Disney Electrical Sky Parade follows in the footsteps of recent nighttime productions like Disney D-Light, Avengers: Power the Night, and the Bastille Day drone show of July 14, 2023.

From February 10 to September 30, 2024, park goers can also look forward to a new daytime show titled “A Million Splashes of Colour,” celebrating the animated films of Disney Animation and Pixar. This energetic and colorful performance, staged multiple times daily, will take audiences on a journey through the storytelling history of Disney Animation and Pixar, featuring floats inspired by art, music, and writing.
The show will showcase 30 dancers and characters, each float expressing its own visual identity and packed with Disney details and references. The musical accompaniment will include original scores and mashups of iconic songs from Disney Animation and Pixar films.

Adding to the festive atmosphere, Main Street, U.S.A. will be adorned with floral decorations from February 10 to May 5, 2024. Inspired by Art Nouveau and celebrating the wonders of nature in Winter and Spring, the decorations will feature over 50 Disney Animation and Pixar characters.
Main landmarks like the Gazebo and Main Street Station will be redecorated in collaboration with French artisans, incorporating a range of skills such as sculpture and ornament modelling.

Additionally, to mark the celebration of 100 years of Disney at Disneyland Paris, a new book titled “Celebrating 100 years of Disney at Disneyland Paris” will be released on November 16. This exclusive release, available in select boutiques, invites readers to explore the history of The Walt Disney Company through 100 iconic dates celebrated uniquely at Disneyland Paris, including attractions, shows, events, and special nods. The book will be available at The Storybook Store, Harrington’s Fine China & Porcelains, and The Disney Gallery, for €40 with no applicable discounts.
