The 13-meter-tall structure has been installed atop the North Mountain, which at 36 meters high represents the tallest point within the new themed land. The palace serves as a replica of the ice castle featured in Disney’s animated film “Frozen” during the “Let It Go” sequence.

According to Disney officials, the palace was designed and assembled in the United Kingdom before being transported to France for installation. The structure consists of approximately 30 interconnected components with a total weight of 15 tons.

The blue-colored palace features towers embedded with ice crystals and more than 300 Swarovski crystals, designed to create visual effects during both daytime and nighttime hours. Once complete, the structure will overlook the Kingdom of Arendelle section of the theme park.

Walt Disney Imagineering Paris teams oversaw the installation process. The palace represents a major construction milestone for World of Frozen, which is being developed as part of Disney Adventure World.

Visitors to Disneyland Paris will be able to view the completed palace from a distance once the World of Frozen area officially opens to the public in 2026. Subscribe to AirMagique for more news and updates.
