Disneyland Paris has revealed new details about an upcoming street entertainment experience set to debut at Disney Adventure World on July 24, 2026. Titled The Disney Princess Cavalcade, the procession will feature four Disney Princesses and is designed around the theme of adventure rooted in community and culture.

The cavalcade will spotlight Moana, Raya, and two additional Disney Princesses, each representing distinct story worlds drawn from their respective animated films. According to the show’s creative team, the central concept centers on the idea of belonging — the notion that meaningful adventure is inseparable from one’s origins and community.

“There can be no true journey, quest or exploration unless you are firmly rooted in your community and culture,” said Matteo Borghi, one of the cavalcade’s two directors, who developed the concept alongside co-director Françoise Baffioni.

The floats have been designed to reflect each princess’s home world, with Moana represented by a recreation of her island village of Motunui, and Raya by the Heart Palace from the land of Kumandra. The creative team has drawn on the source material of the original animated films, as well as the cultural traditions of the regions depicted, to inform the float design, costumes, and choreography. The latter was developed in collaboration with choreographer Cécile Chaduteau.

The route will begin near the entrance of a forthcoming Lion King-themed area and proceed along Adventure Way to The Regal View Restaurant & Lounge, before returning to its starting point. The return journey will include an interactive segment in which the princesses engage directly with guests: Moana will lead movements inspired by traditional Pacific Island dance, while Raya will demonstrate choreography drawing on martial arts traditions.

Music will serve as a central narrative element throughout the experience. Two original songs were commissioned specifically for the cavalcade — one to accompany the procession itself, and another for the designated stops. The compositions were written by a team of songwriters that includes Chris Sernel, previously credited with work on Disneyland Paris’s 30th anniversary productions. All music was recorded in Nashville last November.

On-site rehearsals are described as imminent, with the creative team currently in the final stages of preparation ahead of the summer launch. Disneyland Paris has noted that, as with all live entertainment, the cavalcade may be subject to modification, postponement, or cancellation in the event of adverse weather or technical difficulties.
