Disneyland Paris has commenced a significant renovation of Disney Sequoia Lodge, one of the resort’s longest-standing hotels, as part of a broader transformation plan for its on-site accommodations.

The project, which got underway in early 2026, will be carried out in phases, with the first stage focusing on all guest rooms located across the hotel’s five outdoor lodges, set within a forested area of sequoia trees. The wider renovation is intended to enhance the guest experience while retaining the woodland character that has defined the property since it first opened in 1992.

The updated rooms will follow three distinct design themes, each drawing on Disney and Pixar film properties set in natural environments. Guests will be able to choose from rooms inspired by Disney Animation’s Bambi (1942), Pocahontas (1995), and Pixar’s Brave (2012). According to Disneyland Paris, the new artistic direction is intended to reflect the beauty of nature while incorporating beloved characters associated with forest settings.

The renovated outdoor lodge rooms are expected to be available to guests beginning in the first quarter of 2027. Subsequent phases of the project will extend to the remainder of the hotel’s rooms as well as common areas, including the lobby, restaurant, retail, and recreational spaces. Disneyland Paris has confirmed that the hotel will remain open to guests throughout the duration of the renovation work.
No completion date for the full project has been announced at this time.
