Europa-Park has announced the opening of Silver Lake City, a major expansion of its existing accommodation facilities that transforms a former camp resort into an immersive Wild West-themed town within the German theme park resort.

The project represents a significant evolution of what began over two decades ago as a modest camping area with tepees. The facility is being redesigned to resemble an authentic western town, complete with period architecture and themed amenities.

New Accommodations and Infrastructure
The development includes 25 new Western Houses constructed from solid timber, each accommodating up to six guests. These family-oriented accommodations are designed to serve groups seeking shared adventure experiences.

Supporting infrastructure includes a new multi-level parking structure providing 580 covered spaces and upgraded facilities for recreational vehicles and campers. The development features a central square with a water fountain that serves as the main entrance to the themed area.

Dining and Entertainment Facilities
Silver Lake City incorporates several themed dining establishments, including the Diner Station, a buffet restaurant designed to resemble a steam locomotive depot complete with a train display. The Wild Horse Bar offers beverages in a saloon-style setting, with plans to serve Europa-Park’s first proprietary beer beginning in 2026.

Recreation facilities include a 12-hole miniature golf course called “Gold Rush Golf” and plans for integration of the YULLBE GO virtual reality experience, combining historical theming with modern technology.

Expansion Timeline
The project is scheduled for completion by 2026, with additional phases including a separate guest house containing over 100 rooms, retail establishments, updated sanitary facilities, and children’s play areas. The phased approach allows the park to maintain operations while expanding its accommodation capacity.
