Disney Adventure World has announced plans for a new family attraction (chair swing ride) inspired by Pixar’s “Up,” marking the first time the beloved animated film will be featured in a Disney park attraction. The flying carousel, which will allow guests to soar above the park and enjoy panoramic views, will be located in the Adventure Way area across from the in-development Raiponce Tangled Spin attraction.

Construction on the “Up” attraction is scheduled to begin by the end of 2025. The ride will join Adventure Way’s growing collection of family-friendly experiences set within themed gardens celebrating Disney and Pixar stories. The area features European-style Art Nouveau architecture surrounded by lush landscaping.

“This all-new experience will enrich the family-friendly offerings and further elevate the dynamic of this area,” according to park officials. Adventure Way serves as a transitional space connecting the front of the park to its new immersive themed worlds, designed as a place where guests can relax before continuing to more immersive experiences.

In addition to the new attractions, Adventure Way will include the Regal View Restaurant & Lounge, where guests can dine with Disney Princesses and view a new nighttime spectacular that will illuminate Adventure Bay’s central lake. The entertainment team at Disneyland Paris has already begun testing this show, which will feature water screens, fountains, special effects, and choreographed drone performances.

The “Up” attraction represents another element in Disney Adventure World’s ongoing expansion, which will bring multiple new experiences to the park in the coming years.

Disneyland Paris also announced new details regarding Adventure Way, the Lion King attraction, World Premiere, and a new design for Disney Sequoia Lodge. Subscribe to AirMagique for more news and updates.
