Disneyland Paris has announced plans to continue its ambitious hotel transformation initiative with major renovations scheduled for two additional properties – Disney Sequoia Lodge and Disney Davy Crockett Ranch.
Following the refurbishments of Disney Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel in 2021 and the reimagined Disneyland Hotel in 2024, Disney Sequoia Lodge will be the next property to undergo a comprehensive makeover. The refurbishment of the 1,010-room hotel, located on the shore of Lake Disney, is scheduled to begin in 2026.
The renovation will maintain the lodge’s signature wooden décor and warm atmosphere that has appealed to guests since its 1992 opening, while introducing brighter spaces with modern touches. The redesign aims to enhance the hotel’s nature-inspired theme, celebrating forest animals from Disney animated films.
“The design will pay homage to the beauty of nature while taking inspiration from forests, following the tradition started by Walt Disney and his team of animators,” according to the announcement. The transformation will expand beyond the current Bambi-themed elements to incorporate characters from both classic and recent Disney films featuring forest settings.
The renovation will utilize carefully selected construction materials to minimize environmental impact. The hotel will remain operational throughout the refurbishment, which will be conducted in phases beginning in 2026.
Meanwhile, Disney Davy Crockett Ranch is already undergoing renovations, with bungalows being gradually replaced to provide “a modern and comfortable experience” while maintaining its peaceful natural setting. The new bungalow interiors will feature themes inspired by Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, and the Junior Woodchucks. The first renovated bungalows will be available for booking starting June 12, for stays beginning after summer 2025.
These renovations represent the latest phase in Disneyland Paris’s ongoing strategy to enhance and elevate the guest experience across its hotel portfolio.
