Europa-Park, Germany’s largest theme park, has unveiled comprehensive plans for its 50th-anniversary celebrations in 2025, marking five decades of operations since its founding in 1975.

The park, which has welcomed nearly 150 million visitors throughout its history, will introduce several new attractions and special events under the theme “Experience Europe Together.”

The anniversary season will officially begin on March 22, 2025, with a special pre-opening event scheduled for March 15. The centerpiece of the celebrations will be the park’s first-ever 24-hour operation on July 12, 2025, the official birthday of Europa-Park, featuring special nighttime entertainment and illuminations.

Among the new attractions announced is “GRAND PRIX EDventure,” an interactive 3D family ride based on the upcoming film “GRAND PRIX OF EUROPE,” a co-production between MACK Magic and Warner Bros. Film Productions Germany. The park will also introduce a new parade featuring elaborately decorated floats and costumed performers.

The celebration extends beyond traditional attractions, with renowned concept artist Ottmar Hörl planning an installation called the “Garden of Stars” in the Historic Castle Park, featuring 100 golden stars. The park will also see the return of the Europa-Park Zeppelin, which will fly over Lake Constance from April to October 2025.
