From January 13 to March 21, 2025, Rulantica will transform into a glowing wonderland as the Nordic Festival of Lights takes center stage, offering visitors the chance to experience the indoor water park in a new light. The event will set the stage for the upcoming anniversary season at Europa-Park Resort with illuminations, entertainment, and seasonal highlights.

Inside, the water world shines with light displays: northern lights dance in the Vinterhal area, blue stalactites hover above Lumåfals, and the Vildstrøm torrent glows brilliantly in the dark. Other areas, including Snorri’s Saga, Skip Strand, and Skog Lagoon, showcase Nordic-inspired decorations with sparkling fairy lights and atmospheric illumination.
In the Hyggedal relaxation and sauna area, visitors can unwind with mood-enhancing lighting and a special infusion program, adding to the tranquil allure.
Entertainment takes on a luminous flair during the festival, with highlights such as the interactive family show Feel the Light, featuring high-energy light acrobatics; Rulantica Magic Bubbles, showcasing soap foam artistry; and Snorri’s Marionette Show, where puppets charm audiences. On select evenings, the heated outdoor Frigg Temple pool will host Rulantica Vibes, complete with live music and glowing cocktails.
Food lovers can look forward to Nordic-inspired culinary offerings, including salmon pizza, fish burgers, and apple-cinnamon semolina pudding. Meanwhile, the indoor water carousel Tønnevirvel offers music-filled water battles set to disco beats for fun-loving visitors of all ages.
