Den Dulk was instrumental in the creation of Frozen Ever After at Epcot in the U.S. and the World of Frozen area at Hong Kong Disneyland. He also played a key role in the expansion plans for the Walt Disney Studios Park in Paris, which includes the development of a Frozen-themed section.

In his new position as vice president and portfolio creative director for Disneyland Paris Resort at Walt Disney Imagineering, den Dulk will focus exclusively on the Paris location. He announced his excitement for the role on LinkedIn, stating, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Vice President – Portfolio Creative Director, Disneyland Paris Resort at Walt Disney Imagineering!”

Despite den Dulk’s reference to “Disneyland Paris Resort,” the official name of the destination remains simply “Disneyland Paris.” Over the years, the park has been gone by various names, including Euro Disney Resort (12 April 1992 – 31 May 1994), Euro Disneyland Paris (1 June – 30 September 1994), and Disneyland Resort Paris (16 March 2002 – 3 April 2009).

Disneyland Paris is currently reworking it’s second gate, Walt Disney Studios Park, soon to be rebranded as Disney Adventure World. The transformation includes a new entrance area, a Tangled-themed boardwalk, lakeside restaurant, Frozen themed land, and a large lake designed for live shows. Additionally, plans for a Star Wars expansion have been rumored to be replaced by a Lion King land.

The adjacent Disneyland Park, which last introduced a new attraction in 2006 with Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast, remains unchanged for now.
Michel den Dulk’s contributions to Disney were recently praised by legendary Disney designer Tony Baxter, who described him as his unofficial successor. Baxter, who mentored den Dulk after recruiting him from Europa-Park, highlighted their collaboration as a memorable and productive period. Besides Europa-Park, Michel den Dulk previously worked at Efteling and Merlin Entertainment
