Update, 14.05.2024 – When Disney Illuminations returns on May 31, it will be nearly one-third shorter because the live action Beauty and the Beast scene and one of the Frozen scenes have been removed.
The nighttime spectacular Disney Illuminations is set to return to Disneyland Paris this summer.
Since April of last year, the original Disney Dreams show from 2012 has been featured daily. After over a year, Disney Illuminations will once again take center stage. This show previously ran from 2017 to 2023.
According to the official Disneyland website, “Enjoy this spectacular evening show until May 30, 2024.” The magic continues with the return of Disney Illuminations, which will be showcased daily starting May 31, 2024.
Disney Illuminations celebrated themes from The Lion King, The Little Mermaid, Finding Nemo, Pirates of the Caribbean, Beauty and the Beast, Star Wars, and Frozen. Disney has not yet announced any changes to the previous lineup.
In an experiment conducted in March of this year, Disney Dreams was shown twice nightly, one of which excluded the fireworks display. It remains uncertain whether Disneyland intends to implement this concept more frequently in the coming months.
