Disneyland Paris has announced a collaboration with Avis, the Official Car Rental Partner, in Autopia, set to commence on December 18, 2023. This partnership signifies a partial re-design for the renowned attraction. Disney is integrating Avis branding into Autopia.
https://anchor.fm/s/7618f58/podcast/rssAutopia, now presented by Avis, will feature new branded scenic assets designed by Walt Disney Imagineering. These elements will incorporate Avis brand values into the narrative of this iconic attraction. Notably, the photo location in front of the attraction entrance has been revamped to showcase the distinctive red color associated with the Avis brand.

Furthermore, participants in the attraction will be presented with a keepsake in the form of a commemorative driver’s license, adding a playful touch to their Autopia experience.

A new attraction poster has been designed and will soon be exhibited in Disneyland Park, both under the Main Street, U.S.A. station and on the Discoveryland station platform. Online reactions to the new poster have been mixed. Many have pointed out that it seems more in line with the overseas parks, space age futurism, Tomorrowland than the steampunk Discoveryland of Disneyland Paris.

Avis brand integration at Autopia represents a continuation of the collaboration initiated in January 2023 between Disneyland Paris and Avis. It contributes to a series of initiatives already in progress, positioning the car rental companies as an integral part of the overall experience. These initiatives include the unveiling of a new rental agency at Marne-la-Vallée – Chessy station in January 2024.
The unveiling on December 18, 2023, promises an extra special experience for the first 100 guests to rediscover Autopia. Attendees will receive a print of the newly designed attraction poster.
