During the ongoing strike at Disneyland Paris, Cast Members are rallying for increased wages. The demonstration took a tense turn when third-party security guards resorted to shoving the protesting Cast Members. As can be seen in the original video shared by Twitter user @timekeeper:
Security guards, hired by a third-party company, can be observed at the entrance of Studio 1, the primary pathway of the park, aiming to prevent protesting Cast Members from entering. When the group of Cast Members approaches the doors, the guards initiate physical contact, resulting in a highly charged situation. Eventually, the large gathering of Cast Members manages to breach the building despite the guards’ efforts.

Disneyland Paris Cast Members and Unions have announced that they will continue to strike starting June 6 2023. Strikes will continue on a daily basis. Disney has so far largely ignored the Cast Members demands. Park goers should expect entertainment cancellations, demonstrations and further disruptions to general operations.
Disneyland Paris has announced that future park goers can get in touch to re-schedule their visits to a later date. Dated tickets may be modified or refunded, free of charge, until the day of thier visit.
