Disneyland Paris is fixing the moving walkways that lead to/from guest parking.

A construction permit has been filed by Disneyland Paris at Chessy’s City Hall for the full refurbishment and replacement of the tent structures and conveyor belts.

The permit was approved by officials on March 3, 2022. Hopefully we will see the moving walkways resume operation soon.

The infamous walkways have had a troubled operational history.

Disneyland Paris completely replaced the broken walkways in December of 2019 only to have a heavy rainstorm take them out of commission on June 19th, 2021.

Many park goers see the walk from guest parking to the actual theme parks as daunting.

Over the past few months, Disneyland Paris has put a lot of effort into the main parking lot. We’ve seen the addition of a new solar canopy systems as well as several new tent structures.

American park goers, who have visited Universal Orlando Resort in Florida may be familiar with the moving walkway system. They shorten the time and effort it takes to get to the theme park gates.
