Disneyland Paris is set to mark Star Wars Day on May 4 with a range of themed experiences running through May 24, timed to coincide with the theatrical release of Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu on May 20.

The celebrations will be centered in Discoveryland within Disneyland Park, with character meet-and-greets, live shows and themed dining among the highlights on offer.
On May 4 only, guests can expect to encounter R2-D2 roaming Discoveryland, while stormtroopers will patrol the rooftop of Starport in an Imperial March led by Darth Vader.

Running from May 4 through May 24, a broader lineup of experiences will be available. Visitors can meet Chewbacca, encounter either Darth Vader or Rey at Starport, and interact with BDX droids at Videopolis Theatre. The Mandalorian and Grogu will also make appearances on the streets of Discoveryland ahead of their big-screen debut, with the pair described as searching for “their next bounty.”

Guests are also being encouraged to attend in Star Wars costume, though the park notes that visitors aged 12 and over are not permitted to wear full face masks or full character outfits, in line with Disney Park rules and regulations.

Rounding out the festivities, Star Traders will offer themed merchandise, and Café Hyperion will serve Grogu-inspired food and drink items for the duration of the event.

Disneyland Paris notes that some shows, experiences or events may be modified, delayed or cancelled without prior notice.
