From January 10, Disneyland Paris will introduce an new nighttime show, Disney Tales of Magic, which combines advanced technology with classic Disney storytelling to create a brand new experience.

A Journey Through Disney Magic
The show’s storyline explores the many forms of Disney magic. It begins with a tribute to early classics like Pinocchio and Cinderella and transitions to themes of friendship, love, and family through characters such as Stitch, WALL-E, and Simba. Creative Director Tim Lutkin described the journey as a warm, authentic experience to round off an emotional day in the park.
Highlights include:
- A tribute to memory with a poignant Coco sequence, featuring a vibrant ofrenda.
- A climactic moment with Encanto’s Bruno, celebrating the theme of family and belonging.
- A Toy Story segment, featuring synchronized action across Sleeping Beauty Castle and Main Street, U.S.A., with projections and lasers.
Morgane Keesling, Senior Manager, Creative Development also highlighted the He Lives in You scene from The Lion King, calling it a uniquely emotional moment, while also highlighting the Blue Fairy’s role as both the show’s opener and its heartfelt conclusion.
Technology and Music
The production features state-of-the-art projections that are four times brighter than traditional displays, enhancing the transformation of both the castle and Main Street, U.S.A. Disney Tales of Magic also includes original animations, like the Blue Fairy from Pinocchio and the Fairy Godmother from Cinderella, brought to life using traditional hand-drawn techniques.
Music plays a pivotal role, with original compositions like the prologue song, Live in Magic, penned by songwriter Noémie Legrand. The song aims to capture the essence of magic as something found in everyday moments.
