The transformation begins as park goers step through the gates into an open-air movie studio setting, culminating in a glamorous Hollywood film premiere under a starlit sky. From there, they will explore worlds that bring Disney stories to life.

At the heart of this reinvention is the former Disney Studio 1, now being transformed into World Premiere, set to reopen in spring 2025. The revamped soundstage will capture the essence of a classic Hollywood boulevard, complete with iconic palm trees, stars embedded in the pavement, and richly detailed facades inspired by historic movie theaters.

Dynamic projection mapping effects and a detailed skyline will add kinetics to the experience. Among other effects, park goers may see fireworks go off in the distance, a plane landing and neon signage blinking in the skyline projection.

One highlight of World Premiere is the recreation of the historic Animation Building façade from Walt Disney Studios Burbank. Guests will notice playful details, like shadows of animators who appear to have stepped away from their offices to attend the premiere.

At the boulevard’s end, the Disney Theater façade will beckon park goers to delve deeper into Disney Adventure World. Visitors can also enjoy dining at The Hollywood Gardens Restaurant, located inside World Premiere, a quick-service eatery set in an elegant, starry outdoor setting.

For shopping, Mickey’s of Hollywood Boutique will evoke 1920s American department stores, offering a wide range of Disney-themed merchandise. A centerpiece golden statue of Mickey Mouse, designed by legendary Disney animator Eric Goldberg, celebrates the beloved character in an Art Deco style.

Outside World Premiere, the newly designed World Premiere Plaza will serve as a hub for theaters celebrating Disney Animation and Pixar films. This stylish area was designed by Walt Disney Imagineering Paris to create a welcoming, dynamic environment ahead of the park’s grand expansion.

Park goers can look forward to spring 2025, when World Premiere opens its doors, serving as a prelude to the park’s major extension, including a new E-Ticket attraction in World of Frozen, set to debut in 2026 alongside the park’s new identity as Disney Adventure World.
