How the Virtual Queue Works: Using the free Efteling app, guests can join the virtual queue for Droomvlucht. Here’s how it works:
- Join the Queue: When near Droomvlucht, open the app and select the number of people in your group to join the virtual queue.
- Explore While You Wait: While waiting, enjoy other park attractions like the Elf Throne, People of Laaf, or the merry-go-rounds in Anton Pieck Square.
- Receive a Notification: Once it’s your turn, the app will notify you. Head to the special entrance where an employee will help you scan a QR code for direct entry.

Efteling has been experimenting with virtual queues to enhance visitor experiences. Previous tests included the monorail at the People of Laaf, De Oude Tufferbaan, and Carnival Festival. This summer’s test at Droomvlucht introduces the option to choose between virtual and physical queues, giving park goers more flexibility.

Benefits of the Efteling App
The app not only facilitates virtual queueing but also provides real-time updates on wait times for all attractions, helping park goers plan their day more efficiently. Users can view expected crowds by the hour and receive alerts when wait times drop below a certain threshold.
Efteling’s virtual queueing system aims to maximize enjoyment by reducing time spent in physical lines, allowing park goers to fully immerse themselves in the park’s offerings. Subscribe to AirMagique for more updates and news.
