Rust, Germany – Europa-Park has announced the closure of its rotating multimedia theater, Reise nach Rulantica (Journey to Rulantica), situated in the Luxembourg Square.
https://anchor.fm/s/7618f58/podcast/rssThe German amusement park’s popular attraction will have its final showing on Sunday, June 2 2024. Park goers still have a limited window to experience the theater before it closes its doors.

The rotating theater, which opened in 2010, initially showcased the history of Europa-Park. Since 2018, it has been dedicated entirely to the resort’s water park Rulantica. The theater’s reception area features models of the pool and provides park goers with an immersive narrative about Rulantica’s story.

Europa-Park confirmed the upcoming closure, stating, “The countdown has begun: you still have seven days to visit Reise nach Rulantica in our rotating theater one last time. Then we’re going to prepare for something great in 2025!”
Although Europa-Park has not officially disclosed what will replace Reise nach Rulantica, rumors are pointing towards an interactive gameplay theater, developed by local supplier Mack Rides.
Reise nach Rulantica is strategically located between the Euro-Mir spinning coaster in the Russian-themed area and the Roter Baron children’s caroussell in the Dutch section. The building, known as the Drehtheater (Rotating Theater), also houses the popular roller coaster restaurant FoodLoop and a Monorail station.

Europa-Park enthusiasts and visitors are encouraged to seize the opportunity to experience Reise nach Rulantica before its final performance next week.
