Starting January 6, 2025, the iconic Efteling Hotel will close its doors for a comprehensive renovation of its first floor, including a relocation of the main entrance.

This refurbishment follows the renewal of several rooms in 2021 and an exterior makeover in 2023. The hotel is scheduled to reopen on April 17, 2025.

During the renovation, all areas of the first floor will be overhauled. The first floor, considered the operational hub of the hotel, will be transformed into a vibrant space where guests can immerse themselves in the enchanting world of Efteling.

The new entrance will be relocated to the southwest corner of the hotel, leading guests into a luxurious lobby featuring display cases filled with Efteling souvenirs. From the lobby, guests will access a spacious hospitality area designed for dining and relaxation.

This renovated area will cater to both hotel and park guests, offering breakfast, coffee, drinks at the bar, and à la carte dining. At the heart of the dining area, children will discover the “wheelhouse” of the air castle, an interactive play space with buttons, wheels, and radars that allow them to steer the imaginary air castle.

The Efteling Hotel, opened in 1992, boasts 20 highly themed suites, 100 luxurious Comfort Rooms, and 4 spacious Junior Suites, bringing the magic of Efteling to life for its guests. An overnight stay includes unlimited access to Efteling, conveniently just a short walk from the hotel rooms.

The renovation aims to enhance the guest experience, making the Efteling Hotel an even more enchanting place to stay.
