DLP Report has provided a sneak peek of the upcoming hallway design for Disney Sequoia Lodge at Disneyland Paris. The carpets, walls, lighting, and doors will receive a new look. Following the completion of the Disneyland Hotel project, it is highly probable that Disney Sequoia Lodge will be the next on-property Hotel in Paris to undergo a significant refurbishment. In addition, each room number sign now features a bear with its cub, a probable reference to the flag of California. Disney Sequoia Lodge pays tribute to the Sierra Nevada region in California, where giant sequoias, the tallest and heaviest trees on Earth, are found. While the California redwood, a close relative, exists primarily in Northern California and the southern edges of Oregon.

While Disney Sequoia Lodge currently features rooms rocking an American West meets Arts & Crafts aesthetic, featuring artwork from the animated classic “Bambi”, they will likely also be completely re-designed.

The lodge, designed by French architect Antoine Grumbach, opened its doors in 1992. Grumbach drew inspiration from various national park lodges in the western United States from the late 19th to early 20th centuries, including the Old Faithful Inn in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming.
