Rob Marshall, an Oscar-nominated director famous for his work on “Chicago” and Disney’s “Mary Poppins Returns,” helms the upcoming remake of “The Little Mermaid.” The film stars Halle Bailey as the mermaid princess Ariel, Jonah Hauer-King as Prince Eric, Daveed Diggs as the crab Sebastian, Awkwafina as the bird Scuttle, Jacob Tremblay as Flounder, Javier Bardem as King Triton, and Melissa McCarthy as Ursula.
