Leaked Concept Art Reveals IP Based Re-Theme for New Disneyland Hotel Lobby & Restaurants | Disneyland Paris

DLP Rescue Rangers on Twitter has uncovered multiple pieces of concept art for the re-theme of the Disneyland Hotel Paris.

As part of its “royal transformation” the lobby has been completely re-designed. Inspired by the library from the 1991 animated musical romantic fantasy film “Beauty and the Beast”, the new lobby features book shelves on the balconies above. To the dismay of many fans it appears the iconic painting above the fireplace of Euro Disney’s Main Street U.S.A by artist Frank Armitage will be replaced by a portrait of Belle and Beast.

The center of the lobby appears to feature a large spiraling crystal chandelier which houses an image of the Beast’s castle. Pink couches as well as gilded furniture with electric candelabras create a generous seating area in the lobby. Two golden candelabras on the fireplace mantel appear to resemble Lumiere. While the clock also in the center of the mantel resembles Cogsworth.

Further concept art also appears to show a completely re-designed “Inventions” buffet restaurant.  Gone are the steampunk details and curiosities hanging from the ceiling, to be replaced by what appear to be faux skylights and portraits of royal Disney characters on the walls. The concept art appears to show portrait’s of King Stefan, Queen Leah, and the Evil Queen hanging behind the buffet. Further indistinguishable art can also be seen throughout the re-themed space.

Another Disneyland Hotel restaurant, “California Grill” has also been re-themed to “Beauty and the Beast”. Concept art appears to show the Enchanted Rose in its glass dome in the center of the restaurant. Every dining table also appears to feature a smaller enchanted rose, each with its very own glass dome. A new golden chandelier also hangs in the center of the restaurant. While the entire back wall has received new circle top half windows. The only major original element remaining from the original “California Grill” appears to be the wooden center seating piece.

Along with new themed suites Disneyland Paris has announced that the flagship Hotel will reopen sometime in 2024.

What do you think of the new concept art, do you like the re-theme? Let us know in the comments below.
