Work walls are down at the new bar and restaurant “The Royal Pub” (formerly known as King Ludwig’s Castle) at Disney Village Paris. The new eatery will celebrate its grand opening later today (17.02.2023). King Ludwig’s Castle closed its doors on January 8th, 2023 meaning this quick refurbishment and re-theme was completed in just about a month. A short video shared on the official Royal Pub instagram gives upcoming patrons a first look inside the establishment.
We also got our first look at the menu, with prices for starters ranging from 7-13 Euro and mains coming in at 19-29 Euro. “The Royal Pub” will be serving a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks as well a selection of traditional English fare. The selection of dishes is a departure from the former King Ludwig’s Castle which primarily focused on German inspired dishes. Vegetarians will be happy to learn that there are various options available on the menu for them. Find the full menu below:

French restaurant group “Groupe Bertrand” will be operating “The Royal Pub” as well as the upcoming French Brasserie “Rosalie” (formerly known as “Café Mickey”).
First impressions from various Twitter sources show a largely unchanged interior. Reason for “The Royal Pub” re-theme is that the “King Ludwig’s Castle” restaurant concept required “Groupe Bertrand” to pay royalties which they were no longer willing to do. Fans of the interior design of the former “King Ludwig’s Castle” can rest assured that many of the original design details appear to remain intact.
